I have completed a full tranlation of the - 'Keisatsu Kyokasho Taiho-jutsu Hen' (警察教科書 逮捕術篇 - Police Textbook, Arrest Technique volume), which was published in 1950 and have now set it into the same format as the Japanese version.
This is the corrected / amended version of the original instructors manual published in 1949.
This 1950 version forms the basis for all subsequent Taiho-jutsu version and manuals.
I have also translated relevant technical sections of some of the later versions.
As a matter of interest, outside of the police, the Taiho-jutsu system was also adopted by the Japanese Self Defence Forces (SDF) Military Police and the Japanese Coastguard.
