This translation and Japanese text is the index from from the original digital copy of the 1948 - 'Taiho-jutsu Kyōhan' (逮捕術教範) held in the Japanese Diet (Parliament) Library.
As can be seen below, the Japanese Police system (including its subsequent revisions), is absolutely and fundamentaly different from the Tomiki Aikido derived 'Taiho Jutsu' system that was developed by the late Brian Eustace and taught to provincial police forces in the U.K..
I do not say this as a matter of judgement, but purely as a matter of fact. Notwithstanding the use of the same name, it would be a serious error to conflate the Japanese Taiho-jutsu and Brian Eustace Taiho Jutsu systems.
