This is a 1980s film showing female officers from the Metropolitan Police practicing some self-defence techniques from the 'Aikido' Restraint and Arrest system, which was introduced into the service by Brigadier Mike Harvey in 1981.
This system replaced the older Jujutsu based system, that had been in place since the 1930's and was in turn replaced by the Officer safety system in the 1990's.
This has obviously been filmed from a film, so there is no accompanying sound (other that background noise). The end section has a senior female officer talking, but again there is no sound.
